The HIV laboratory in PGIMER's Department of Immunopathology is the first government set-up in the region to get this accreditation.
The laboratory provides HIV diagnostic and disease monitoring (CD4 count and viral load) services as per international standards, laboratory in-charge Dr Sunil Arora said today.
He said that since the laboratory is fully sponsored by the National Aids Control Organisation, HIV testing and CD4 count services are offered free of cost at the facility.
