PGTI C'ships in Panchkula from tomorrow

Top domestic professionals such as Shamim Khan, Chiragh Kumar and Mukesh Kumar will be seen in action when the Rs 30 lakh PGTI Players Championship tees off at the Panchkula Golf Club from tomorrow.

The PGTI Players Championship will feature top Indian professionals such as Mukesh Kumar (current Rolex Rankings leader), Shamim Khan (reigning Rolex Rankings champion), Chiragh Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Rashid Khan, Om Prakash Chouhan, Shankar Das, Manav Jaini, Vinod Kumar and Gaurav Ghei, to name a few.

Leading the local challenge will be Chandigarh-based professionals Sujjan Singh, Harendra Gupta, Abhijit Singh Chadha, Harmeet Kahlon and Ranjit Singh as well as Panchkula's Angad Cheema among others.
 

Kunal Bhasin (Australia) and Md Zamal Hossain Mollah (Bangladesh) are the professionals from overseas playing the event.

"The PGTI is delighted to be back at the Panchkula Golf Club after a gap of two years. An exhilarating week of golf lies in prospect as some of India's best professionals vie for top honours and look to make an impact on the Rolex Rankings," PGTI Director Padamjit Sandhu said.
