Normal life was thrown out of gear in parts of Rajasthan as the state continued to sizzle under extreme heat conditions with Phalodi being the hottest at 50.5 degrees Celsius.
This is the highest day temperature in the state this season followed by Churu where the maximum temperature was 49.1 degrees Celsius.
Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Kota and Jaipur recorded maximum of 48.8, 48.6, 48.5, 48.2, 47.9 and 45.8 degrees Celsius respectively, MeT department said.
