Philips India today entered into a new product category in its consumer lifestyle portfolio with the launch of air purifiers designed to control indoor air quality.

"As a health and wellbeing company, we aim to deliver meaningful innovations in personal health and well-being to improve people's lives. These products have been developed keeping in mind the need of developing countries," Philips India Vice Chairman and Managing Director A Krishna Kumar told PTI.

The air purifier range launched by Philips is priced between Rs 16,995 and Rs 39,995.
