The police registered a crime against a 23-year-old photographer today, for allegedly raping and cheating a minor girl after a complaint made by her parents.
The police took the accused into custody and sent the pregnant girl to hospital for medical examination, the Gooty town police said.
The girl's parents alleged that the accused had cheated their 15-year-old daughter and abused her sexually, which came into light when their minor girl became pregnant.
The police registered a case against the accused under Section 376 and Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
The case is being investigated.
