Karnataka Health Minister U T Khader today inaugurated the renovated physiotherapy centre and district early intervention centre at the government Wenlock hospital here.
Severalnew facilities had been provided at the Hospital ever since thegovernment came to power, he said andhighlighted the peritoneal dialysis facility, dialysis centre and the TB centre operative in the hospital.
The government wanted to ensure that the poor get the best health care facility at the hospital, he said.
Khader thanked Mangaluru Rotary club for providing equipment worth Rs 25 lakh to the new physiotherapy centre.
Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim and District medical superintendent Rajeshwari Devi were present.
