Agrochemicals maker PI Industries today posted a 32.65 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 93.97 crore in the third quarter of 2016-17 on lower expenses and tax outgo.
The Udaipur-based company had clocked a net profit of Rs 70.84 crore in the year-ago period.
Net income fell to Rs 500.32 crore in October-December period of 2016-17 fiscal, from Rs 523.71 crore in same period a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.

The shares of the company closed at Rs 895.75 apiece on BSE today, down 0.90 per cent from its close.
