'James Bond' star Pierce Brosnan, while remembering the pain his daughter and first wife went through before succumbing to ovarian cancer, said their loss has left an everlasting impact on his mind.
The 61-year-old actor's wife Cassandra Harris died in 1991 aged 43 and daughter Charlotte Brosnan passed away last year, when she was 42, reported E! Online.
"To watch someone you love have his or her life eaten away bit by bit by this insidious disease, that part of your sorrow becomes an indelible part of your psyche. I held the generous, strong, beautiful hand of my first wife Cassie as ovarian cancer took her life much too soon.
"Just last year, I held the hand of my funny, wonderful daughter Charlotte before she, too, died from this wretched inherited disease," he said during the TV show 'Stand Up to Cancer'.
