Press Trust of India Lucknow
The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court has dismissed a PIL seeking a direction for a detailed inquiry by CBI and lodging of FIRs against the alleged untrained doctors and pharmacists and their punishment in accordance with law.

A division bench of chief justice D Y Chandrachud and justice Shree Narain Shukla passed the order on Monday on a PIL filed in 2013.

The petitioner had also sought a direction to provide best medical facilities to the people of Uttar Pradesh.

The court, while terming the prayers made in it completely vague, observed that "an investigation by CBI is sought in a casual manner without any pleadings or foundation. Hence, we decline to entertain the petition on this ground. The petition is, accordingly, dismissed".
