Pilgrim dies after hit by a bolder at Shivkhori Shrine in JK

A woman pilgrim died after being hit on head by a boulder near the Shivkhori shrine in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Kamla Kumara a resident of Bari Brahmana Jammu, police said.

The mishap took place last evening when some pilgrims after paying their obeisance at the shine were standing outside the cave and a boulder fell down from the mountain, killing her on the spot and causing injuries to two other pilgrims, they said.

He said those injured were rushed to the Ranso hospital from where they were later shifted to Government Medical College and hospital Jammu.
 

He said the injured have been identified as Rakesh Rajut a resident of Gujarat and Ramesh Chander of Allahabad in UP.
