Pilgrim dies en route Vaishnodevi shrine in JK

A pilgrim died reportedly due to a heart attack enroute the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Reasi district's Trikuta hills today, the police said.

Anand Kumar (46), a resident of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, fell unconscious on a track near Gouri Bhawan while on his way to the Bhairo Temple, a police officer said.

He was shifted to a dispensary where the doctors declared him brought dead, he said.

A case has been registered, he said.

He reportedly suffered a heart attack, the police said.
