Pilgrim from AP, two others die of heat stroke in Mathura

A pilgrim from Andhra Pradesh and two others were killed due to heat stroke here today.

According to information from district headquarters, U S Shastri, a native of Andhra Pradesh, had reached Vrindavan from Agra this morning and had fallen ill due to the intense heat.

Officials said that he was rushed to a local hospital, where he was declared dead.

A 55-year-old woman, Lacho Devi and a government employee also died due to exposure to heat wave in the district.
