Pilgrims from Pakistan visit Rauza Sharif

A 200-member delegation of Pakistani pilgrims visited the Rauza Sharif near Sirhind here today to pay obeisance at the annual Urs.

The Pak Jatha, led by Mohammed Nusrat Ulla Cheema, celebrated the Urs in memory of Sufi saint Sheikh Ahmad Farooqui Sirhindi on the second day of the festival today.

Deputy leader of the Jatha, Farooq, a doctor by profession said they were accorded a warm welcome by the people here.

During their visitm the delegation said they were happy with the turn of events in India, including the formation of government by Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, and the rise of Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial probable of India.
 

The group expressed desire for better bilateral relations between India and Pakistan especially in technology.
