The project will help citizens access the police services online, know the case status, provide information to police and provide interface with other departments like Prisons, RTA, Passport, and Civil Supplies. It will establish a country-wide network covering all the 14,000 police stations.

The project was launched in Cyberabad, West Godavari and Chittoor today, while remaining districts in the state will be covered in the second phase by September this year, an official release said.

It is a nation-wide project connected to MHA, National Crime Records Bureau and all State Capitals and Union Territories, and aims to improve connectivity of data sharing.

Software giant TCS is the system integrator which will implement the project for AP police, while Accenture has been appointed as the State Project Management Unit to monitor and manage the implementation.
