Reacting to reports of proposed anniversary celebrations of Rajasthan BJP government, state Congress chief Sachin Pilot today questioned whether the Raje government deserved celebrations to mark one-year in power early next month.

"What the BJP government has delivered in past one year to public as it promised in its poll manifesto despite high degree of mandate given to it three times," reacting sharply on Raje government's plan to hold mega events to mark one-year in power on December 13 next month Pilot told reporters.

"Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and its ministers should introspect and ask their conscience whether it required any joy and celebrations on public exchequer," he said.

"What exactly they (BJP) delivered to public which they promised on the eve of assembly, Lok Sabha and civic bodies polls to public ... What happened to 15 lakh new jobs creations, who will reply on closure of 17,000 schools and their privatisation," he further accused.

"Lawyers' two months' strike, para teachers, vidhyarthi mitra's demand and protest, students unrest due to strike down of their union polls by High Court, deteriorating law and order situation, crime against women, brutal attack on students at Rajasthan University gate, and on vidhyarthi mitra fellows... Now there is need to introspect this volume of ill governance," he maintained.

Jaipur has turned out to be a capital of sit-in and protets in last one year, he sarcastically commented.

Meanwhile, in a statement, former Congress chief minister Ashok Gehlot also condemned the attack on students at Rajasthan University gate on November 28.

Yesterday in a move at CM residence, BJP ministers in Raje government made a tentative plan to hold the mega celebrations on December 13 in a form of rally and other events to mobilse party workers to gear up for January panchayat polls.
