Rajasthan PCC president Sachin Pilot today visited villages in Nagaur district and spoke to farmers whose crops were damaged due to recent rainfall and hailstorm.
Pilot visited affected areas where farmers gave him representations related with their demands to be raised by the Opposition.
He said that farmers should get compensation from the government at the earliest and the party would raise the issue at all the appropriate levels, PCC vice president Archana Sharma said here.
She said the PCC chief has directed the Congress workers at the local level to accompany the district administration team to make sure that the government assessment of losses is proper and unbiased, she said.
