Dismissing Congress leader A K Antony's call to the Left to support UPA after Lok Sabha polls, CPI(M) Kerala-unit secretary Pinarayi Vijayan today said the moot question was whether it would cross two digits to try and form another government.

"Antony says another coalition government is in store at the Centre under the Congress. But will the Congress be there in such a coalition ministry since the party's tally is not going to cross two digits in parliament?" Vijayan said during a meet-the-press event here.

Antony had yesterday made an open call to the Left led by CPI-M to prove its commitment to secularism and national unity by supporting the Congress after the elections.

"If the CPI-M is sincere in their aim to keep the communal forces at bay, they will have to co-operate with a front under Congress leadership. If they are ready to co-operate, we will accept it," Antony had said while addressing campaign meetings at the Left-dominated Kasargod in north Kerala.
