Pindra Tehsil premises, circuit house to get solar power

The agency has prepared a proposal, initiated by the PWD, of about Rs 65 crore to provide solar light to the circuit house and Pindra tehsil compound, an official said today.

"It is a step towards growing utilisation of solar power as a non-conventional source of energy. The life of the instruments to be set up at the circuit house and Pindra tehsil would be 15 years. We are trying to set up solar light system in some other government offices as well," said NEDA Project Officer Rajmani Pandey.

Different proposals have been prepared to have solar light and solar water heater in the circuit house.

 

East and West Governor suites, drawing room, meeting hall, and others have been chosen in the Tehsil premises to provide with solar light.
