Heritage walks, cleanliness drive and colourful events marked the 'World Tourism Day' in the Pink City today.
The day started with 'Ghat Ki Guni Heritage Walk' from Roop Niwas Bagh and ended at Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh.
Citizens participated in the walk to create awareness about preserving our heritage, Tourism Director Vikram Singh said.

The elephant-owners were also present along with the office bearers of the Elephant Owners Development Society.
During the day, another cleanliness drive was also organised at Nahargarh Wildlife Rescue Centre, Singh said.
To celebrate the occasion, tourists were accorded floral reception at various monuments like Amber Fort, Elephant Stand, Albert Hall, Jantar Mantar, City Palace and Hawa Mahal.
Such floral welcome was also accorded to the tourists and the visitors at the Tourist Reception Centres at the railway station and the airport.
A performance of shehnai was also organised at Elephant Stand, Amber Mahal and Albert Hall, he added.
The activities were organised by the state tourism department in collaboration with social organisations.
