The 'So What' hitmaker took to her Twitter account to tell followers she had been feeling under the weather, reported Daily Telegraph.
The 32-year-old singer also shared a photograph which showed her smiling as she lay in a hospital bed with an IV drip in her arm.
"Maybe it's cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life - but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV- and I'm a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn't," she tweeted.
