Pioneer Distilleries Ltd Thursday reported widening of its net loss to Rs 81.66 crore during the first quarter ended June, 2019.
The company, a subsidiary of Diageo-controlled United Spirits Ltd, had reported a net loss of Rs 16.04 core in April-June quarter last year, Pioneer Distilleries said in a BSE filing.
The company's total income rose 37.23 per cent to Rs 44.01 crore during the period under review as against Rs 32.07 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Its total expenses rose 36.04 per cent to Rs 65.45 crore from Rs 48.11 crore a year ago.
Shares of Pioneer Distilleries Thursday closed 2.24 per cent lower at Rs 118 on the BSE.
