A pistol and bullets found in a car, impounded by a car loan company for non-payment of monthly instalments, were seized today by police at Devakottai.
Police said the company had impounded the car of Mahendran as he defaulted on payments of seven instalments.
When they checked the car before parking it in their shed, they found a pistol and some bullets in it and reported the matter to the police, who took custody of them and were investigating.
