Rapper Pitbull is executive producing a drama series called "305" for Fox.

The one-hour drama follows Willy, who is forced to leave his high school to go live with his celebrity chef uncle and attend Miami's wealthiest private school.

He attempts to acclimate himself to his new surroundings while dealing with relationships, family drama, work, and the problems that more money brings, reported Variety.

Jonathan Levine, who directed the 2013 romantic-zombie comedy "Warm Bodies", will helm the project written by Sascha Penn, of "Power" fame.

Pitbull, 34, is Miami's unofficial pop music ambassador, known by the moniker "Mr 305", the city's area code.

The "I Know You Want Me" hitmaker is also set to guest star on the sophomore season of "Empire", appearing as himself and performing "No Doubt About It" with Jamal.
