Real-life couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will star together in 'By the Sea', to be written and directed by the 'Maleficent' star.
This would be the couple's first onscreen outing together after 2005's 'Mr & Mrs Smith', where they met. It is also the first time that Jolie will direct her future husband.
Pitt and Jolie will also will produce the project for Universal Pictures, which has acquired all worldwide rights.

Jolie is currently busy with the postproduction work on her second directorial venture 'Unbroken', the true story of Olympian and war hero Louis Zamperini. The film will release on Christmas Day, said the Hollywood Reporter.
"I am very happy to continue my relationship with Donna and the entire Universal team as I finish 'Unbroken and begin work on 'By the Sea'. They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker," Jolie said.
