"We express serious concern over the threatening letters sent to the Kashmiri Pandits reportedly by terrorists asking them to leave the Valley or face consequences", Panun Kashmir Convener, Dr Agnishekhar said in a statement here today.

"The government has apparently underplayed this issue thus keeping the valley Pandits in a dilemma", asserted Agnishekhar.

In the light of alarming threat perception increased by the recent attacks on security personnel in the Valley, repeated attempts of infiltration from across the border, he said, the government would be failing in its responsibility if proper security is not ensured to the newly appointed KP youths under PM's employment package.

Agnishekhar assured support to the non-camp migrants and relief holders fighting for enhancement of their cash relief of Rs 15,000 and allotment of living quarters to all deserving families residing in rented accommodation.

He also urged the authorities to immediately restore drinking water supply to Jagti towmship.
