A police complaint has been filed against Rajasthan Motor Garage Minister Hem Singh Bhadana, after a purported audio tape of his telephonic conversation with a councillor, in which he is heard threatening the latter, went viral on the social media.

In the audio tape, Bhadana had allegedly threatened Rajendra Tiwari, a councillor from Alwar district, for his misbehaviour with a Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) official Deshraj Singh posted in the district.

"We have received a complaint from councillor Tiwari that he received a threat from Minister Hem Singh Bhadana over phone. We are investigating the matter," Shivaji Park SHO Vinod Samaria said.

Meanwhile, a cross-complaint has been lodged by the PHED official against Tiwari, following which the police filed a case of disrupting the official from doing his duties.

"We had received a complaint from the PHED official following which an FIR was registered. Both the matters are being investigated," the police official said.
