Seeking the support of the public to the government in its efforts to protect the health of the people, the Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today said that the administration was planning to demolish abandoned houses to prevent breeding of mosquitoes.
Bedi in a Whatsapp message to media persons saidthat she she held a meeting today to review the collective efforts being made by the District Collector, the Municipal authorities, the Health and Public Works Departments in the context of preventing dengue in the Union Territory.
She appealed to the people to clean up theirhouses, backyards and shops.
