Pleasant day in capital as temperature dips

The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.8 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees less than normal for this time of the season, as against yesterday's 37.6 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

The minimum temperature, however, registered a slight increase to settle at 26.4 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal for this time of the season.

Weather in the capital has been pleasant since Saturday when heavy showers lashed the national capital bringing cheers to residents reeling under intense heat.

Humidity was recorded between 45 and 27 per cent, the MeT office said.

The Weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky for tomorrow and the temperature is likely to be between 38 and 25 degrees Celsius.
