Pleasant day in Delhi, overcast sky likely tomorrow

It remained a pleasant day in the national capital today even as the early morning sky remained obscured with moderate to shallow fog that brought down visibility to as low as 600 metres in certain areas here.

According to weather department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.7 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average while the maximum temperature recorded to 25.5 degree Celsius, one degree above the normal.

The humidity in air oscillated between 95 and 60 per cent.

The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow.

"Tomorrow the skies will be partly cloudy. Shallow to moderate fog would occur at a few places in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 24 and 12 degrees Celsius," said the weatherman.
 

The visibility was recorded at 600 metres at 5.30 AM and at 8.30 AM. However, as the day progressed it improved to 1,200 metres at 11.30 AM and further to 1,800 metres at 3.30 PM, according to Safdarjung Observatory.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature had settled at 11.6 degrees Celsius.
