Pleasant morning in Delhi, rail traffic affected

The Delhiites today woke up to a pleasant morning with minimum temperature settling at 10.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, even as 55 trains were delayed due to fog.

As many as 55 trains were delayed by several hours and 13 cancelled due to foggy morning, a Railways spokesperson said.

However, the flight operation was normal, according to Delhi Airport Website.

The visibility at Safdarjung observatory was recorded at 800 mt while the same recorded by the Palam observatory was 400 mt at 8.30 AM this morning.

The weatherman has predicted clear skies throughout the day with the possibility of maximum temperature settling at 24 degrees Celsius.
 

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded were 24.2 degrees Celsius and 10.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
