Residents in Punjab and Haryana witnessed a pleasant morning today with minimum temperatures staying above normal levels.
Union Territory of Chandigarh recorded minimum at 14.5 degrees Celsius, up by six notches above normal, a MeT Department report said.
Among other places in Haryana, Ambala's low settled at 15 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal while minimum temperatures in Hisar, Karnal, Narnaul and Bhiwani settled at 12, 13, 12.2 and 14.6 degrees Celsius respectively, up to three degrees above normal.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 12.4 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded minimums at 13.5 and 13 degrees Celsius respectively.
The maximum temperatures in the two states have registered a significant rise in the last few days.
