Weather in West Bengal remained pleasant today with the highest day temperature being 35.6 degrees Celsius owing to scattered rains or thundershowers in different parts of the state.
Kolkata recorded the day's highest temperature at 35.6 degrees Celsius along with Bankura and Asansol, which too recorded the same figure, according to the Met department here.
The mercury went up to 35.5 degrees Celsius at Sriniketan, while it reached 35.0 degrees Celsius at Burdwan.

The hill town of Darjeeling recorded the day's highest at 18.8 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature there was 12.0 degrees Celsius.
