Pleasant weather prevailed in in Punjab, Haryana and their joint capital Chandigarh today as both maximum and minimum temperatures hovered above normal levels at various places.
The day temperatures in the region ranged around 25 degrees Celsius with the highest maximum temperature of 26.8 degrees Celsius reported from Gurgaon in Haryana, an MET Department report said.
Above normal day temperatures were recorded at various places including Ambala, Chandigarh, Karnal, Narnaul, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala, the weatherman said.
The minimum temperatures were above normal at many places. Narnaul in Haryana recorded a minimum temperature of 18.2 degrees Celsius which was eight notches above normal.
The weather office has forecast cloudy weather conditions in the region in the next 24 hours.
