Delhiites today woke up to a pleasant morning and the skies will be partly cloudy though no rains are expected.

According to MeT department, 1.6 mm rainfall has been received in the last 24 hours till 8.30 AM this morning.

An official of the department, however, said that no rains were expected later in the day due to Cyclone Hudhud.

He also said that minimum temperature was recorded at 19.6 degree Celsius while maximum is expected to settle around 30 degree Celsius.

"Today, there would be partly cloudy sky, but no rain may occur," he also said, adding that humidity level was also recorded at 81 per cent till 8.30 AM this morning.

Yesterday, remnants of the cyclone Hudhud over India's east coast had pulled the mercury significantly down in the national capital as it witnessed sporadic showers which led to a nip in the air.

The maximum temperature yesterday settled four notches below the season's average at 29 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded as 21.8, two notches above the normal.
