Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha today said whenever social upheaval has arisen, great people have emerged to restore peace and prosperity and Jayaprakash Narayan was one such stalwart.
"Whenever crisis hits society, a supreme personality emerges to deal with it. And Jayaprakash Narayan was like that supreme personality," the former external affairs minister said here.
"But again things become the same after some days after the restoration, because evil dominates human nature. We have to take a pledge that we will tread the path shown by JP, who dedicated his life for values," he said.
