PLFI activists kill two persons

Two persons including a public distribution system dealer were shot dead allegedly by the activists of People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) in two separate incidents in Jharkhand, the police said today.

Two motorcycle-borne PLFI cadres shot dead a PDS dealer, Dilip Choudhury in front of his house in village Marcha in Rania police station of Khunti district yesterday, police today.

A large number of villagers gathered on the Khunti-Simdega Road and blocked it with the body today, disrupting the road traffic for over three hours, sources said.

The blockade was lifted after the district officials assured them to arrest the culprits soon.
 

In another incident, 28-year-old Balku Sahu was shot dead by PLFI activists in Kathkunwari Bartoli village in Lapung police station of Ranchi last night, police said.
