Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the reason behind his "radiant" face is the sweat due to hard work.
During an interaction here with children awarded the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2020, Modi recalled that someone had asked him many years ago about the reason behind his "radiant" face.
"I had given a very simple answer. I said, I work hard and my body sweats a lot. I rub that sweat (on myself) and it gives me a glow," he said
The prime minister asked the children to tell others as well that there should not be any child who does not sweat it hard four times a day.
Modi asked the awardees to keep working hard and advised them to enjoy drinking water as if it were juice and not see it as taking medicine.
The award is given to children in the age group of five to 18 years for their contribution in areas like social service, scholastic, sports, and art and culture, and also for innovations and bravery.
It carries a medal, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a certificate and a citation.
