Unique Identification Authority of India Director General Vijaya Madan briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about implementation of Krishna district public distribution system's electronic point of sales pilot project, it was officially announced here today.
According to an official release issued here, all ration depots of the Krishna district public distribution system would collect iris and thumb impressions of those who avail of rationed food to avoid duplication.
