Prime Minister Narendra Modi today chaired a meeting of several important departments where the country's strategy for the crucial summit on climate change in Paris was discussed.
Official sources said ministers heading key departments including finance, environment, power, coal and agriculture were present.
Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian, Director General of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Ajay Mathur and secretaries of concerned ministries were also present.

"How India is preparing for CoP 21 in Paris, strategies for cutting emissions and what should be done was discussed," sources said.
According to sources, a discussion was also held on Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC), which India is likely to submit soon.
France will host the 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (CoP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) from November 30 to December 11.
