Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit West Bengal towards the end of this month for election campaign, according to state BJP president Dilip Ghosh.
Ghosh said that the Bengal unit had suggested some dates for his campaign visit.
"We want Modiji to campaign from towards the end of this month. We have sought dates for 3-4 phases of the poll, which will cover approximately 10 rallies. We are yet to receive confirmation," he told reporters.
Dates had also been sought for BJP national president Amit Shah and other central leaders, he said adding the party was planning to rope in the chief ministers of states like Maharashtra, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.
