Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's former media adviser Sanjaya Baru today suggested that he should resign in the wake of Rahul Gandhi's "insubordination" by attacking him on the issue of ordinance.

"Enough is enough. The prime minister should quit. This (Rahul's statement) is insubordination because the manner in which it was done calling the Cabinet decision nonsense and should be torn up and thrown away," he said reacting to Rahul's attack on the ordinance.

"This type of blame on the government for a decision which was obviously taken in consultation with the party amounts to insubordination," said, Baru, a senior editor.
