Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the country salutes the nine CRPF personnel killed in an IED blast in Chhattisgarh and stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the bravehearts.

The CRPF personnel were killed after Maoists blasted their mine-protected vehicle using over 50 kg of explosive in Sukma district.

"India salutes the brave @crpfindia personnel who were martyred in the attack in Sukma... My thoughts are with the families and friends of the brave martyrs. The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them in this hour of grief," Modi said in a series of tweets.
