Jairam Ramesh, who has campaigned in all Telangana districts so far, expressed confidence that the Congress would form the government on its own in the new state.

Highlighting that political stability is the most important requirement for the Telangana state, he said that the Congress alone could provide such a stable government.
Replying to a query, Ramesh said that the Prime Minister had already campaigned in states including Assam, Kerala, Maharashtra and Delhi.
"The Prime Minister is selective in his campaign. The fact that he is coming to Telangana shows his special love and affection for the people of Telangana," he said.
Simultaneous elections to the Lok Sabha and the undivided Andhra Pradesh Assembly would be held in Telangana on April 30.
