The Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading not-for-profit professional membership association for project management, is organising a three-day conference for academicians and students commencing from February 13.
The conference will be hosted by National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), according to a statement here.
Earlier this year, nominations for the 'Awards for Academicians' were invited by PMI India for extraordinary contribution in the field of project management.

The awards and commemoration of these noted academicians will also be given away during the conference, it said.
PMI has also arranged a special optional tutorial for students and academicians prior to the conference which will help them to get better insights on topics pertinent to project management.
The event would offer an opportunity to all project management professionals, academicians and students across India to come together, gain knowledge and share experiences.
The sessions at the conference would cover diverse sectors and topics pertaining to project management and will be delivered by industry experts from renowned institutions like Tata Consultancy Services, L&T, Capgemini, GAIL (India) Ltd and academic experts from IIM, Kozhikode, VJTI, NITIE and other overseas members from USA and Australia.
