PMK's Executive Committee would on June 21 take a decision on its stand on Rajya Sabha biennial elections from Tamil Nadu scheduled for June 27.

The Executive of PMK, which has three MLAs in the 234-member Assembly, would meet in Chennai and decide on whom to support in the polls, party Youth Wing Secretary and former Union Minister Anbumani Ramadoss told reporters at Sompatti village near here today.

Seven candidates, including DMK's Kanimozhi, are in the fray for the elections to six seats. DMK, which has 23 MLAs, has been making hectic efforts to get the required support of 34 MLAs.

Ramadoss said PMK would contest the next Lok Sabha elections on its own and ruled out alliance with either DMK or AIADMK.

He accused the Jayalalithaa government of attempting to destroy the PMK by foisting cases and slammed the move to claim damages of Rs 50 crore for the violence in the aftermath of recent arrest of party founder leader Dr S Ramadoss.

Hitting back, he said the AIADMK should pay compensation for damages caused during the violence following party supremo Jayalalithaa's conviction in Pleasant Stay Hotel case.

He said Ramadoss was recovering after the cardiac surgery and he would meet the cadre after three months.
