PMK protest for closure of liquor shops in residential areas

PMK, which has been demanding prohibition, today announced staging a protest here demanding closure of liquor shops located in residential areas.

Party founder S Ramadoss, a vocal supporter of prohibition, said he will lead the protest on September 2.

In a release here, he lauded Kerala Government for its decision closing down bars.

Liquor is sold by the government-owned TASMAC in Tamil Nadu through retail outlets.
