PMO officials review progress of projects in Telangana

Officials in the Prime Minister's Office today held a meeting with the Telangana Chief Secretary and other State Government officials to review the progress of several ongoing railways, coal mines, national highway and other infrastructure projects in the state.

The meeting, presided over by Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chandra, also reviewed the progress in digitalisation of state-level clearances (for projects). Shubha Kumar, Joint Secretary, PMO, and Som Dutt Sharma, Director attended the meeting, an official release said.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary informed the Central officials that Telangana has achieved more than 90 per cent progress in digitisation of state level clearances.
 

"Shubha Kumar said that the Centre is ready to coordinate with the state government and help resolve the issues. The meeting took stock of the various Inter departmental issues, action taken report on e- Pragati and state level clearances.

"Issues pertaining to Hyderabad Metro Rail, Karimnagar Iron Ore Benefication Project, Coal Projects of Singareni Colleries, Munirabad-Mahbubabad new railway line, Mallavaram- Bhilwara pipeline and rehabilitation with regard to National Highways were discussed at the meeting," the release said.
