Police today announced a reward of Rs 30,000 for anybody providing information leading to the arrest of two sons of BSP MLA from Uttar Pradesh Haji Aleem in connection with the murder of his wife.

According to police, Bulandshahr MLA's 40-year-old wife Rehana was murdered allegedly by Danish (25) and Anas (23) - his two sons from his first wife -- and their driver Mohd Nadeem (30).

Police announced a reward of Rs 30,000 on each of them and to be given to any one who provides information or clue leading to the arrest of the accused.

Nadeem was arrested on October 13 from Shaheed Nagar, Seemapuri Border.

Rehana, the second wife of Aleem, was found murdered on October 9 morning at her New Jafrabad residence in North East Delhi when Aleem was out of India on Haj pilgrimage.

Police had said that Aleem returned the next day and was in Bulandshahr during Rehana's last rites.

According to police, the breakthrough in the case came following Nadeem's arrest who disclosed to them the entire plot of the gruesome murder.

Danish and Anas had a personal grudge against Rehana, thinking Aleem did not love them and their mother because of her. This had become a bone of contention between Aleem and his two sons, following which they allegedly decided to eliminate Rehana.
