Police arrest three robbers active in Delhi-NCR

Police arrested three persons, who allegedly used to rob people after offering them a ride in their autorickshaw, from Indirapuram area here.

The gang members, who were active in Delhi-NCR, were arrested late last night following a tip-off, a police officer said, adding a pistol, two cartridges, two knives and an autorickshaw were seized from them.

The accused were identified as Kaseem, Tahir and Naushad, all aged between 25 and 32 years.

"We got a tip-off that the accused were coming to Indirapuram area. We laid a trap and arrested them," said the officer, adding the gang members used to lure people to their autorickshaw and loot them.
 

According to the officer, the accused have several cases registered against them in Delhi and Ghaziabad.
