With the arrest of nine persons, city police today claimed to have busted two gangs of gamblers active across the district.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided gambling dens in Modi Nagar and Masuri areas late last night and arrested nine besides seizing some stake money, playing cards from their possession.
"We are interrogating them about their accomplices involved in the crime," a senior police officer said.
